I have tutored mathematics for over 25 years. I have taught kindergarten through adult learners, with students coming from all educational backgrounds: public and private schools and homeschoolers.

I Love Tutoring Because

I really like encouraging people and helping them reach their goals, especially in mathematics. That doesn't mean that I expect everyone to be a mathematician, but rather that each student can choose how much math they want to pursue, and I want to help them be successful to the level they desire. Some students really want to excel in math and go on to take a lot of math classes in college. Other students just want to get through the class with a passing grade because they want to get their requirements done so they can move on to other things. Either way, I enjoy working with students to help them achieve their personal goal.
