[00:00:30] ok i need help graphing this

Jordan N (Tutor)
[00:00:38] ok
[00:00:43] What are your thoughts on how to start this problem?

victoria (Customer)
[00:01:45] im not realy sure if i had to guess i would plot the (-2,-3) first

Jordan N (Tutor)
[00:01:51] You got it!
[00:02:00] Can you try that on the whiteboard?
[00:02:36] You got it!
[00:02:42] What should our next step be?

victoria (Customer)
[00:03:25] well i know m=slope but im not sure how to do it

Jordan N (Tutor)
[00:04:02] okay
[00:04:07] slope = rise over run
[00:04:15] in other words, slope = the change in Y over the change in X
[00:04:31] the slope is -1/6 which means that to find our next point, we need to go down 1 and right 6
[00:05:08] great!
[00:05:17] and to go the opposite way, we could up up 1 and left 6
[00:06:04] can you complete the line?
[00:06:37] great!
[00:07:14] Do you understand everything?

victoria (Customer)
[00:07:52] I got it! Thanks!
