I have degrees in mathematics and physics, and I have been tutoring collegiate level mathematics since 2006. I have led group tutoring sessions for entire college classes, tutored students one-on-one in person, and for the last decade tutored students online. I have been a Tutor.com tutor since 2012, and I tutor calculus, multivariable calculus, discrete mathematics, and probability & statistics.
I have tutored math subjects for 15 years now, and it is a job that has never felt like work. I love working with people. I love math. Doing anything at all with math is fun for me, though I would never have guessed that when I was younger. Math was my least favorite subject from elementary school almost all the way through high school, and I often struggled with it. As I got older and entered into college, math subjects got easier and more enjoyable. I progressed in my studies so much so that I chose to major in mathematics and became a mathematics tutor. I know all the ins and outs of math problems, and there is nothing more satisfying than being able to share this knowledge and expertise with students. I love working with math problems, but even more than that, I love knowing that I’ve helped someone else achieve real understanding of the subject, especially if I can make it as easy and fun for them as it is for me :)
