Career Experience

I have been teaching for over 22 years with 17 of those at the college level mostly in essay writing and English as a Second Language. I believe it is critical to find out how each student learns best. I've done much research on ways to balance the left and right brain hemispheres in order to make learning stick! I'm currently developing a curriculum for youth about literacy and learning tied to the Expressive Arts (mask-making, singing, painting, drama, puppetry). I am a published author and am a professional proofreader.

I Love Tutoring Because

I enjoy working with life-long learners regardless of age or ability and believe that ordinary people have extra-ordinary knowledge and talents if we better understand their individual learning style.

for some reason, I couldn't add spaces for the indents? tabs don't work, so I tried adding spaces in front of the paragraphs, but each time I did they would all get deleted.
