Galen Warden Joins Tutor.com's Marketing Team
Former Director of Marketing and Creative Services at Bowker Brings Rich Library Experience and Expertise to Tutor.com
New York, NY (August 3, 2007) – Tutor.com, the leading provider of on demand homework help and tutoring services, announced today that Galen Warden has joined the company as the Director of Institutional Marketing. Ms. Warden will help the company expand its marketing programs to educate more librarians about the company's flagship product, Live Homework Help®as well as Ask A Librarian™. Live Homework Help™ is an after school program that connects students in the 4th ' 12th grades and those taking introductory college courses to an expert tutor online. Ms. Warden spent the last five years as the Director of Marketing and Creative Services at Bowker, publisher of Books in Print and the official U.S. agency for assigning ISBNs. In this position, Ms. Warden supported services to librarians, booksellers and publishers. She built a library support program to help librarians market their Bowker services to their patrons. She also successfully launched several products such as RCL, Fiction Connection and PatronBooksInPrint.com.
Her rich professional experience working with librarians will help Tutor.com take their marketing programs to the next level as they look to build more awareness of the company's services among public libraries across the country through targeted marketing programs. Ms. Warden attended the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford and is a talented graphic designer, painter and poet.
