What is Online Tutoring with Tutor.com?

Online tutoring with Tutor.com is a service where students sign in for a private, one-to-one, live tutoring session in our online classroom whenever they need help.

Who are the tutors?

We have certified teachers, college professors, undergraduate and graduate students, professionals in the field and professionals at home raising their children.

Tutor.com tutors are thoroughly screened for expert knowledge in their subject areas and must complete a criminal and education background check administered by a third party.

Tutors work with each student to provide help, not answers, and to bring every session to an educationally sound conclusion.

Who are the students?

Students connect from computers in their local library, community center, school, after school program, or from home to qualified tutors in English, math, science and social studies.

What is the Online Classroom?

The online classroom is a secure web environment where you can chat using instant messaging, draw problems on an interactive whiteboard, share files to review essays and papers, and browse educational resources on the Web together.
