Tutor.com is currently accepting tutor applications for the 2008/2009 academic year. There is a rolling admission. Applicant processing and tutor certification will begin in the summer of 2008. Apply Today!
Applicants who can tutor in the following subjects and commit to at least 5 hours a week during the following hours will be given preference:
Subjects:
- Algebra II
- Geometry
- Trigonometry
- Calculus
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Applicants who can cover math, science or social studies in English and in Spanish will also be given preference
We are looking for applicants that can commit to at least 5 hours a week, Sunday through Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Eastern time.
Applicants in the following subjects will be placed on a waiting list and notified as soon as there is a need for more tutors in these subjects. Preference off of the waiting list will be given to applicants who can tutor more than one subject above the elementary level. Your account will remain active while on the waitlist for up to a maximum of 180 days. After 180 days, your account will be deactivated and you will need to reapply.
