I am licensed to teach high school English in the state of North Carolina. I have experience as a substitute teacher and tutor. I have taught in both public and private schools. I currently teach English literature and writing at a private school in North Carolina. I have taught all abilities from struggling learners to AP students. I have been published in local newspapers, and I have had many former students publish their writing.

I Love Tutoring Because

I enjoy tutoring because it gives me an opportunity to help students better their writing skills. I love seeing students achieve that "light bulb" moment. I want to see students reach their goals.

I don't like the fact that the session time limits are capped at an hour. It should be able to go on for as long as the student needs help. I believe this is an improvement that could be made.
