I have been a personal teaching assistant for several English professors, and I assisted with courses such as basic grammar, basic writing and research, advanced writing and research, advanced research and literary analysis, British literature - Neoclassic and Romantic, American literature - Colonial and Romantic, and American literature - Modern and Realism.
when I was younger, I struggled academically. However, I was able to overcome my challenges through tutoring and hard work. I understand first-hand how well tutoring can help students because I have used it myself. My academic abilities have soared as a result, and now many years later, I am able to give back to others in the same way I was onced helped. I know when you are given the right help and work hard, you can succeed, and becoming confident in yourself academically is key. I want to help students gain that confidence in themselves just as I was able to through tutoring.
