  1. We detected that you are not physically located within the legal service area for this program. If you believe you are located within the legal service area designated to access this program please contact your local library with the IP address and Referring URL information located at the top of this page. They will need to have their technicians contact Tutor.com for technical support. If you are accessing this program from outside the legal service area please visit www.tutor.com to get access to tutors 24 hours a day 7 days a week.


  2. You may have some security software enabled on your computer (Norton Internet Security is a popular example). If this is the case, you should try to disable your security software then return to your library's site and click on the Tutor.com link again. If you don't see this error page, you'll know that the security software was the problem.

    For help configuring your security software so that you do not have to disable it when using Tutor.com, please contact the software vendor's technical support department and ask them for help "configuring your security software to allow the tutor.com domain to detect referring URL information from your web browser."


  3. If you don't have any security software installed or if you've disabled your security software, you may be seeing this error page because you are behind a proxy server that is not allowing us to detect that you came from your library's web site. In this case, you should contact the technical support department of your ISP (Internet Service Provider) and ask them for help "configuring your web browser to pass referring URL information to web servers."
