Kathie (Customer)
[00:00:14] well hello thank u for joining me

Miranda S (Tutor)

Kathie (Customer)
[00:00:38] so i am dealing with inequalities
[00:00:51] i need help on one and one i need to make sure is correct

Miranda S (Tutor)
[00:00:53] Ok

Kathie (Customer)
[00:01:00] aww thank u for ur help

Miranda S (Tutor)
[00:01:06] Yep!

Kathie (Customer)
[00:01:53] "the number of problems Jay- Z has is no fewer than 99"
[00:02:00] this is what i wrote
[00:02:25] is that correct

Miranda S (Tutor)
[00:02:32] What a creative inequality!
[00:02:39] Yes, that looks right to me

Kathie (Customer)
[00:02:38] i know haha
[00:02:42] really?
[00:02:56] yayay

Miranda S (Tutor)
[00:03:11] Yep! Saying he has NO FEWER than 99 is saying has has AT LEAST 99 problems.
[00:03:22] So it could be equal to 99, but not less than.

Kathie (Customer)
[00:03:25] wow feel sorry for him
[00:03:34] ahh got it yaya

Miranda S (Tutor)
[00:03:42]

Kathie (Customer)
[00:03:47] ok now the last question
[00:04:39] "The mean gas price over the months of june, july, and august is greater than \$4.10 "(note : there is a natural choice of variable for this situation")

Miranda S (Tutor)
[00:05:01] Ok...

Kathie (Customer)
[00:05:10] i have no clue how to solve this :9

Miranda S (Tutor)
[00:05:11] I'm assuming they want you to choose "g" as the variable?

Kathie (Customer)
[00:05:36] wait could it be

Miranda S (Tutor)
[00:05:52] Right!

Kathie (Customer)
[00:06:04] thats it
[00:06:05] ?

Miranda S (Tutor)
[00:06:18] If we define "g" as the mean gas price for the months of june, july, august, then that is the correct inequality.
[00:06:23]
[00:06:33] I think the wording made it sound more difficult than it is.

Kathie (Customer)
[00:06:34] wow that was so easy
[00:07:03] i know they are so mean with this wording but im getting the hang of it so happy thanks for your amazing help

Miranda S (Tutor)
[00:07:15] Thanks, I'm glad I could help!
[00:07:24] Is there anything else I can help with?
