[00:00:08] Welcome back to tutor.com !
[00:00:10] I'm Nancy.
[00:00:40] I see the problem that you shared, and I'm happy to help you with it

Miriah (Customer)
[00:00:56] okay! thanks Nancy!

Nancy S (Tutor)
[00:01:10] GREAT! You know the first step. I was just going to ask.

Miriah (Customer)
[00:01:45] then when you do that, you get like5.3333333

Nancy S (Tutor)
[00:01:59] That's ALMOST right. I'd just divide by -6, instead of 6.
[00:02:06] But yes, it's not a whole number answer.
[00:02:34] the other option is to turn it into a mixed number.

Miriah (Customer)
[00:02:42] SO, i was right?!

Nancy S (Tutor)
[00:02:53] Yes! Not all math problems are "pretty" with nice answers. LOL

Miriah (Customer)
[00:03:12] haha, i just got confused. its a simple problem so i didnt know what happened

Nancy S (Tutor)
[00:03:24] Yes --- and you understand the part about the negative, too?
[00:03:56] Is there anything else I can help clarify for you?

Miriah (Customer)
[00:04:22] well. i have another problem to do. you could make sure im doing it right?

[00:04:29] I'd be happy to. Please share it!

[00:04:50] As you wish

Miriah (Customer)
[00:04:50] thanks

Nancy S (Tutor)
[00:05:36] Is that a b or a 6?

Miriah (Customer)
[00:05:41] b, lol

Nancy S (Tutor)
[00:05:52] Okay, so just there? The other one is a 6?

Miriah (Customer)
[00:06:20] yeah

Nancy S (Tutor)
[00:06:21] (Just making sure -- i'ts hard to get the right solution to the wrong problem. LOL)
[00:06:24] Okay. Thank you!
[00:06:45] Okay, when you mult. the left side by 3?

Miriah (Customer)
[00:06:45] yeppp

Nancy S (Tutor)
[00:06:51] It has to be the ENTIRE side of that equation.
[00:07:09] Otherwise, it's the right approach.
[00:07:11] Right!
[00:07:41] Excellent!  You did that step perfectly.
[00:08:16] Perfect!  Good work.

Miriah (Customer)
