[00:04:45] that the alleles for a trait separate when gametes are formed. These allele pairs are then randomly united at fertilization

[00:08:17] states that separate genes for separate traits are passed independently of one another from parents to offspring.
[00:08:29] so they have no bearing on each other
[00:09:06] one particular gene pair for one trait to be passed to the offspring has nothing to do with the selection of the gene for any other trait

[00:10:40] the pea plants is a great example
[00:11:03] so some pea plants can have green seeds
[00:11:06] or yellow seeds

[00:13:28] the outcome was independent of the pods and seeds
