Client Services Associate

Position Overview

Tutor.com, the premier provider of online homework help and tutoring service, has a full-time, entry level position for a Client Services Associate. We are looking for an intelligent, outgoing, dedicated, fun, energetic, self-motivated person to work with our Institutional Client Services and Sales Team in our Midtown Manhattan office.

Position Responsibilities

The Client Services Associate delivers excellent customer support, provides assistance for the Client Services and Sales Team, and maintains the customer relationship with public library clients subscribing to the Tutor.com Learning Suite, ensuring Tutor.com has a sustained relationship with the client and that we achieve complete customer satisfaction and contract renewal. Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily Phone and Email Contact with Clients
  • Preparation of Customized Client Reports
  • Maintenance of Databases
  • Update Client Website
  • Produce Client Newsletter
  • Upkeep of Client Programs

Candidate Qualifications and Characteristics

  • Excellent presentation and public speaking ability, strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and develop ongoing client relationships
  • Strong communication skills, including written, verbal and online presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload and requirements
  • Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRMs (SalesForce.com), Web CMS, and understanding of internet services
  • 1-2 years work experience, preferred in sales, marketing or account management
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Available for travel up to 10%
